Magnetic Hooks
What are magnetic hooks?
Magnet hooks are pot magnets. These strong neodymium magnets have a magnetic core with a steel coating, which strengthens the holding power of the magnet, however they are very handy at the same time. In addition to magnetic hooks, there are also other types of pot magnets, for example magnets with bore, countersunk hole or threaded studs.
Visually, our magnetic hooks are equipped with a nickel-copper alloy, which protects the material from external influences and thus ensures, for example, that the magnetic hook remains rust-free. In addition, the metallic sheen gives the magnetic hook a particularly high-quality look. Our black magnetic hooks are additionally painted with color and thus blend in very well with dark backgrounds.
GAUDER magnetic hooks can be quickly and easily attached to various surfaces without the need to nail, drill or screw and damage the walls or the hooks themselves. The magnetic hooks can thus be removed without resistance and reattached somewhere else.
How and where can magnetic hooks be used?
Magnetic hooks enjoy great popularity in many application areas due to their practical shape. For example, you can use our GAUDER magnetic hooks in your household, office, or workshop as
- towel holder in the kitchen or bathroom,
- rag holder on metallic surfaces such as whiteboards or blackboards,
- key holder in the hallway or
- tool holder in the workplace.
An important thing to remember when using magnetic hooks is that the adhesive force is stronger or weaker depending on the attachment. For example, the magnetic force is significantly greater if you attach a neodymium magnetic hook vertically to a horizontal surface. On vertical surfaces, the holding force of a magnetic hook is in turn lower, because the earth's gravitational pull acts transversely to the magnetic field lines.
Very strong magnetic hooks can carry several hundred kilograms of weight and are often used for industrial purposes. They are among the most popular neodymium magnets mainly because of their practical shape.
GAUDER magnetic hooks — Your advantages at a glance
Neodymium magnetic hooks are pot magnets with a threaded bushing and a screwed-in hook. This metal construction protects the neodymium magnets from damage and strengthens the holding force. They can be flexibly attached to a metallic surface to hang objects on the hooks. The application areas are versatile, whether office, household, school, workshop, camping, machine and plant construction or transport area. The magnetic force of the hooks only acts on the flat, round magnetic side, as the steel pot shields the magnetic effect.
