What are magnetic plates?

Magnetic plates are known for their strong adhesion to metal. Having a self-adhesive side as well as a magnetic side, magnetic dots and squares are mostly used to fix objects to metal surfaces. However, thanks to their self-adhesive back, adhesive magnetic squares and dots are also ideal for fixing objects to other surfaces such as ceramics, wood, metal or even plastic.

If pictures, pens, figures or tools are provided with the magnetic plates, they become magnets and adhere to metal invisibly due to the ferromagnetic properties of the self-adhesive magnetic dots and squares. Magnetic plates are therefore primarily used to give non-magnetic objects a hold on a metallic surface. They do not attract themselves and other magnets or magnetic tapes.

Adhesive magnetic squares and dots are made of anisotropic material and are available in our online shop in many different sizes, shapes and thicknesses. These are pre-cut magnetic plates, which are provided with an adhesive film on the back.

Where do magnetic squares and dots find application?

Magnetic plates can be used in many ways at home for organization, but also for personalization purposes. Due to their predetermined shape, adhesive magnetic squares and dots are quickly ready for use and can be used in workshops or other handicraft locations. But you can also attach light objects such as photos, cards or drawings to metallic surfaces at your discretion by attaching the magnetic dots and squares to the back of the desired object. The advantages of self-adhesive magnetic dots and squares

Not only are GAUDER magnetic squares and dots strong, the adhesive surface of our magnetic plates is also protected with a film, which can be easily removed as soon as the adhesive magnetic squares and dots are to be stuck to an object or a surface. Although the high-quality 3M™ adhesive promises excellent adhesion, subsequent removal without leaving any residue is possible. If the magnetic squares and dots were attached to a wooden frame, for example, no traces remain after removal.

If the selected size does not fit your purpose, cutting the magnetic plates to size is no problem. Thus, the adhesive magnet dots and squares can be individually adapted to any object. In the household, damage to pictures or decorations caused by nails or drill holes is also avoided if they are attached to metallic or magnetic walls using self-adhesive magnetic dots and squares.

Caution: For heavier objects, it is sometimes necessary to use two or more adhesive magnetic squares and dots to prevent items from slipping.
