Difference between an isotropic and anisotropic magnetic sheet

In general, two types of magnetic sheets are differentiated, namely isotropic and anisotropic magnetic magnetic sheets. These two forms of a magnetic sheet differ in terms of the magnetization type, because the isotropic magnetic sheet has a moderate adhesive force, while the anisotropic magnetic sheet has a strong adhesive force.

A characteristic of an isotropic sheet is that it can be magnetized in any desired direction after the manufacturing process. It is not possible to achieve a strong adhesion performance as it is with anisotropic magnetic sheets. On the other hand, an isotropic magnetic sheet has a higher degree of flexibility, which is due to the pole spacing as well as the number of poles.

Anisotropic magnetic sheets

When an anisotropic magnetic sheet is produced, the direction of magnetization is already determined during the manufacturing process. In this way, a higher holding force can be guaranteed. Their magnetization direction cannot be changed at a later stage, but polarity and polarization can.
